FAQ
Where is my data stored? On your own PocketBase/VPS. Pro adds a small amount of central infrastructure for notifications and billing.
How do I delete my data? Pro subscribers can tap “Delete PocketCoder Pro Data” in Settings to permanently remove their push-notification records and RevenueCat subscription/purchase history from our systems. This never touches your self-hosted server or its data, and it doesn’t cancel an active app-store subscription — cancel that separately through the App Store or Play Store.
Does canceling my subscription delete my data? No. Your data lives on your own VPS — that’s between you and your VPS provider, not us.
What’s the difference between free/FOSS and Pro? Pro adds one-tap automated server provisioning (vs. FOSS requiring your own server and a manual SSH connect), push notifications for agent events, and the “Monitor” chat action. Everything else — chat, agent harnesses, MCP, skills — is identical in both. Server management/updates are intended for both, but on FOSS it’s best-effort and may not be fully working yet.
What AI harnesses/models can I use? Goose (default), Claude Code, Codex, or OpenCode.
How do I get support / report a bug? Email marketing@qtpi.app.
What happens if the AI makes a mistake? Docker keeps a misbehaving agent contained — it can’t reach your computer or other software. Mistakes within your project files are still possible, which is why every consequential action needs your approval first.
